Head Coach:  Carlos Calderon

 Bio of coach Calderon: Carlos is a graduate of Southgate Anderson High School were he lettered all 4 years in soccer where he was a member of 2 Mega Conference championships  He has had top professional training from the Bollettieri Soccer Academy in the summer of 2000. There he played and trained with former MLS head coach of the Miami Fusion Ivo Wortman. Carlos has over 18 years of playing experience, 3 years of coaching club soccer, and is in his 4th season of coaching at the high school level. He has his U.S.S.F. category "E" license and his U.S.S.F category national "D" license.

Assistant Coach: Adam Martin

Bio of Coach Martin:

Adam was a graduate of Albion high school in 2003 where he lettered all 4 years in soccer. He has over 17 years of playing experience and has received top professional training. Adam later went on to play at Kellogg Community College from 2003-2004 and then at Siena Heights University from 2005-2006. Adam is well acquainted with the elite quality of academics and athletics as he exemplified that all through high school and college. Adam will be receiving his Masters Degree in Sports Management in April of 2009. Adam is in his 2nd year of coaching and very committed to helping the program get to the next level.

 

For Adam, coaching is an opportunity to teach the game that he loves and perhaps more importantly teach life lessons to those of the game. Adam coaches with tons of passion and seeks to express the game and its value through great relationships he builds with the players. Adam is grateful for the privilege to have begun his journey of coaching here at Ypsilanti.
